Stopped-out learners who met with a coach re-enrolled at a 4x greater rate

What happens when learners with some college but no credential (SCNC) connect with a coach? A new 3rd-party evaluation of the California Reconnect initiative found that those who engaged in coaching were nearly four times more likely to re-enroll — and significantly more likely to persist once they returned to school.

Join us on June 16 from 2-3 p.m. ET to explore more findings from the year-two evaluation of California Reconnect, an initiative designed to support re-enrollment and completion for adult learners. We’ll explore the data from 20 participating partner institutions and discuss what’s possible when colleges and universities combine personalized coaching, multi-channel communication and strong cross-campus collaboration.

Our expert panelists include those closest to the initiative — from the lead evaluation researcher and an institutional leader to a frontline student success coach. Together, they’ll discuss:

  • The tangible impact of individualized coaching on helping learners re-enroll and persist
  • Qualitative insights around creating campus-wide buy-in for a sustainable re-enrollment initiative
  • Real learner stories and experiences along the re-enrollment journey
  • Recommendations for how institutions can create strong conditions for lasting student success
