Discover how Mount Saint Mary’s University is dealing with the only constant during COVID-19: change.
2020 will be forever known as the year of “new normal.” Translation: the year when the COVID-19 pandemic forced a majority of colleges and university campuses to shut-down in-person learning and go completely online. Virtually overnight, institutions had to pivot to a new way of doing things — in the classroom and behind the scenes. Gone was the ability for campus tours, special events, group visits and recruitment fairs. What does enrollment look like in this “new normal?” To find out, we’re checking in with a few of our partners to see how they’ve made adjustments for the fall term.
In this video, we sit down with Brian O’Rourke, Vice President of Enrollment at Mount Saint Mary’s University, to discuss all things enrollment — including the need to over communicate with students and be prepared to answer questions in the micro-moments when they reach out to connect. Mount Saint Mary’s University is a liberal arts women’s college with two campuses in Los Angeles.
